I love this store. They have every plumbing thing I will ever need, even down to 1/8" threaded steel. Who has that anyways? Augh, I can't remember his name, but the guy who works at the White Center plumbing department is awesome. I've gone in there 5 times on random assignments this past year, and the guy even recognized me and said hi! "What you doing this time?" The plumbing fittings even cost less than HD a lot of times. This store may not have everything, but their plumbing selection is first class. They even have steel nipples up to 6" sometimes. That is dedication.

I would like to commend highly the employees and the plumbers that came out. All of these people worked very well together to accomplish several different jobs I needed done today. They listened to me with courtesy and sensitivity, and showed real care in completing all work to meet my needs.

As an older woman without much knowledge of plumbing vocabulary I did not really expect the attentive kindness from all of these men, but I am very pleased to tell you how much I appreciate their professional attitude, their hard work, their courtesy, and their cleanliness after the work was completed. I feel that I can call on your company again, and I will certainly recommend you to others.

Solely based on the plumber they sent out, I will call on this business again. He was helpful, informative and fair in pricing vs. other companies.

I just wanted to let you know that I had South West Plumbing out for service on 2/17/08 and they not only met but exceeded my expectations by far. I had been dealing with a clogged kitchen sink that I was unable to fix myself. So I called and had them send out a service technician. The technician was very helpful and knowledgable. I look forward to doing business with South West Plumbing again in the near future.

I had South West Plumbing out to my home this past Easter weekend. My mother had clogged the kitchen sink( probably all of the egg shells) I was happy that they could get a plumber to my home in less than an hour. Two men showed up and introduced themselves. Both were dressed in clean uniforms and before they came in the even put little booties on their shoes. I showed them the problem and the lead guy told me it would be $169.00 to clear the drain. That sounded fair so I sign the paper for them to start the job and before i could even sit down they were getting started. These 2 guys were amazing. The each new what the other was going to do. First a carpet was laid down, then a tarp of some kind, then a machine was used to clear the drain. In just 15 minutes they were done and my drain was fixed. They let me know that the pipes under my sink were getting thin and gave me a price in case I wanted to get it done in the future. I told them that i would consider it and paid the bill. They cleaned up their tools and carpet an were gone without a trace that they were even there.

I am glad that there are still "Professionals" out there that can do a job without causing any damage or dragging the job on for hours.

I will definitely use them again. Thank you Rick!

I called these guys to help me fix a minor issue with hot water in my shower. I explained to them that I had it working until I messed-up. And couldn't put the cartridge (that goes in front of the mixing valve) back on.

They showed-up. And inspected the shower and the parts. Gave me a look followed by: Two Options: Opt 1-"he can try to fix it but it may not work." Second option is that he "will have to open up the wall and install new pipes, mixing valve, new shower etc etc."

I told him to give me an estimate for the opt 1. The guy told me that "there are no guarantees that it will work." Then quoted me $550. Looking at the surprise look on my face. He gave me a discounted price of $450. Upon which I told him to leave. He then asked me if I will be interested in getting it fixed for $250. And guaranteed that he will fix the problem. So in mere 15 minutes he went from $550 and no guarantees to $250 with guarantee. All this without my asking him to reduce the price...I just asked him to leave. Upon which he said that I owed them $39. I told the guy that when I had called they told me that I won't have to pay anything until I ask you guys to do the work. He didn't believe me. Instead gave me a look that I may be lying. Called his dispatcher. Who confirmed that I was telling the truth. The whole experience was really annoying.

Later in the day, I called Morgan's plumbing on Stone Way. The gentleman at Morgan's asked me to bring the parts. I did. They showed me that I was placing the rubber washer and the springs backwards in the cartridge. They also showed me how to increase hot water in the shower.

I came home. For myself - with no past experience with plumbing....it took me 45 minutes. And the shower works like a charm!

People don't understand what it costs to run a service plumbing cost. Its costs the company nearly 400$ just to show up at the door. Yeah, you can hire cheaper guys... which are probably unlicensed one man shops.

If you want your plumbing to be done the day you call, and you want a licensed guy then call the big companies. If you're on a budget, try your luck with someone else... although good luck if you need to pull a permit.

Please shop at Lowes, the Issaquah Home Depot really does suck (Review of Home Depot)

 Review of: Home Depot

I wanted to share my last experience with the Issaquah Home Depot. My wife and I opened a line of credit with Home Depot to renovate our kitchen. In an effort to be concise....I will skip the nightmare details and schedule delays.

In July of this year, I stopped in to Home Depot to pay off the credit line ($7740). I received a receipt and went on my way. 5 Days later I received a call from the assistant store manager stating that someone lost my check before it was cashed. After checking with my bank, they informed me that the check was cashed and my account was charged accordingly. I gave a copy of the check to store management and they me they would get back to me with a resolution. I also receive a letter from credit services stating that my account was closed with zero balance and in good standing.

It is now December 27th, 2007. I received a letter from Home Depot credit services stating that I owe them the $7740 balance again and also stated that I should pay via phone or start incurring 22% interest charges. When I asked for the history of the account for documentation purposes they refused, stating that the bank records are for their use only. They did ask me to provide them with copies of my bank statements proving that I did pay.

After getting no where with Home Depot credit services, I went to the Issaquah store and asked for the manager. He was not there and it is store policy not to disclose the store managers working hours. I dealt with the assistant manager (John) and he told me he could not do anything to help. He actually told me I should get and attorney. I honestly cannot believe that I am dealing with this six months later and the store will not give me the contact information or the working hours of Neil Goehri ( Issaquah Store Manager).

After asking someone other than the assistant manager, this employee told me in confidence that the best way to get in touch with the store manager is to call the store everyday at 9am to figure out if he is working. I am amazed at the ineptitude of the store management and the fact that they felt entitled to make charges to a line of credit I closed 6 months ago. Please, do yourself a favor and do not make any major purchase at the Issaquah Home Depot.

Best Regards,

Consumer who can't battle a larger corporation
