Being pregnant I had to freeze my account for 6 months. I wasn't told that I still would be charged a ''freeze" fee of $15 a month. Being on a freeze for medical reasons cost me more than canceling my membership and re-joining when capable of coming back!
I talked to the owner, Vicky, and she is just rude, unhelpful and not accommodating. She refuses any refund as I should have know by reading the website (while I talked to 3 different staff members and was NEVER told about any future charges!).
I will not recommend this place to anyone.

come on, everyone should be smart enough to not give business to someone that does not care for the safety and dignity of children and teenagers. these stories about golden body rings are known all around the state of Washington. Someone should really do something about this. Parents should also keep a closer eye on their children, these pervs can keep their shop open because parents don't care enough.

I have been to this salon on several occasions. I have had some good services, foil, haircuts.

However I must comment on the attitude in the place. Rude on the phone, rude while I was waiting, and rude when I left.

Last time I checked my money spent just as well as anyone else's. When you spend $200 or up for services they should treat everyone like a celebrity.

Not sure why a good salon like this thinks it needs to be snobby?
2 stars for attitude.

"I do know that we have not had any other instances in this club of lice in over a year..." (Review of 24 Hour Fitness)

 Author: James E.
Review of: 24 Hour Fitness

Previously I thought this facility 4/5 stars, but that was when I first joined the gym October '07 and had a personal trainer.

Then I contracted pubic lice from the locker room June 9.

Here is the reply I received from the club manager, emphasis between asterisks is mine:

James, I do apologize for the experience you have had in regards to the cleanliness of our facility. When do you notice the club looking the worst? I can assure you that we do go through and disinfect the locker room area twice a day and have a hourly check for any things that need to be taken care of right way, these type of activities would not build a habitat the lice would breed. I will look into this issue today and see if we have any signs that there are lice anywhere and then let you know. *I do know that we have not had any other instances in this club of lice in over a year that I have been here.* Again, I understand where this could be a very embarrassing and frustrating situation, so I will let you know what I find out when we look deeper in the club for signs of infestation. Let me know if there is anything I can do in the mean time!!

My reply:

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I've only used the facility in the morning hours. Several times I've used the equipment only to discover paper towels and/or disinfectant wasn't available for cleaning. Recently the club didn't have any soap in the locker room; how people were able to wash their hands after using the bathroom or take a shower after working out is unknown. I find your claim of sanitization efforts hard to believe when simple hygiene using soap and disinfectant solutions were not maintained at a satisfactory level.

My daily schedule consists of home, your facility, and my office. I can say with every confidence that both my home and office do not contain any possible access to infection.

You stated "I do know that we have not had any other instances in this club of lice in over a year that I have been here." Having experienced your facility since October of last year, with your own staff telling me they do not even use the showers, and having seen the ventilation shafts above the showers coated in layers of dust, I have every reason to conclude my contact with pubic lice is from your facility.

I'll never go anywhere else for a Brazilian. (Review of Salon Dewi Home of the Waxing Diva)

Travis Powell is amazing. I've been going to him for a little over a year now, every 5 weeks, for Brazilian waxes. He's funny, sweet, personable, and most importantly - incredibly good at what he does. I come in furry and leave clean as a whistle. Prices are totally reasonable, too.

Also, Cady at the front desk is a sweetheart, and the whole place lacks the snobby, uptight atmosphere of other salons and spas. Every time I've come in, people have been talking and laughing, and I've never been treated with anything less than friendly respect. I'm a devoted fan of Dewi, and will never go anywhere else for my "landscaping" needs!

 Review of: CITY HAIR

Ive had nothing but fantastic cuts, and color at City Hair. The staff has gone out of their way to make the experience mellow, and cheerful. I think the prices here are outlandishly cheap for the service you get. I use the Alterna Caviar that they've recommended to me and cannot believe the condition of my hair and scalp! They are always running deals on the Caviar every few months and if you ask they will call you when it's on sale.

You must go see Cher at Seven. Such a pleasure to work with- professional but really funny and warm...within ten minutes of my first visit she had the shape of my face, the texture of my hair, even my difficult cowlick figured out. The salon itself is sumptuous, free coffee/chocolate etc, but my men's haircut was only $85. Definitely a good price for how amazing the service was.
