<title>Great Selection -- Great Service (Review of Gregg's Greenlake Cycle)</title>

I have been shopping at Gregg's for years and the selection and service never cease to amaze me. I recently stopped by to purchase a new pair of cycling shoes. The woman who assisted me was extremely helpful and patient. I am very picky with my shoes and she humored my interest in trying on every shoe in the store. Gregg's had multiple performance oriented shoes in my size, but I went with the SIDI's. While there I found some awesome looking jerseys (purchased 2) and the parts guys helped me pick up some new lube. Gregg's is surely bigger than the store located in my neighborhood, but they have earned my business over the years with good service, great selection and friendly staffers.

<title>Part for part, the most expensive bike shop in seattle (Review of Aaron's Bicycle Repair)</title>

These guys may have a good selection, but they will charge you 25%-50% more for the exact same part. The location is convenient, but I can't afford it. I've started driving over the bridge to save money.

<title>For kids, run by kids maybe (Review of Skyhawks Youth Sports Camps &amp; Programs)</title>
		<category>Reviews - Sports &amp; Recreation</category>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Recreation-and-Sports/26698686/p1/Skyhawks_Youth_Sports_Camps_and_Programs.htm">Skyhawks Youth Sports Camps & Programs</a><br/><br/>
I have my two sons in Skyhawks this week. The program is too advanced for my four and five year olds, though they assured us when we signed up that age groups would be separated.

Age groups were not separated until half way through the program, too late for my four year old, who was already intimidated by being run over by seven year olds in some of the drills.

Terminology used for these little kids by the teens running the program was also advanced for the younger age groups.

My five year old, who is more outgoing did enjoy the program, but I believe we were mislead by the age ranges advertised. We were lied to about the separation of age groups for the activities.

Though one of my children enjoyed the program, I'm giving it one star for the misleading advertising regarding age groups and for the lack of age group separation.

<title>Great Service From a Shop That Knows Ball... (Review of Sporthaus Schmetzer)</title>

This soccer shop has always taken care of me and my program. They know soccer and Matt at the Seattle location is always a pleasure to deal with. He has been extremely supportive of the 'little' clubs and teams in the area. Our teams travel from the south end (bypassing all of the soccer west locations) simply due to the great service and support we get from Sporthaus Schmetzer and Matt.

<title>Good bikes, Bad service (Review of Gregg's Greenlake Cycle)</title>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Bicycle-Dealers/17635/p1/Gregg_s_Greenlake_Cycle.htm">Gregg's Greenlake Cycle</a><br/><br/>
I came in to the store having already called ahead to put a specific bike on layaway, meaning all the hard work for them had already been done.

The rep who helped me out kept talking to me very slowly...like..I..couldn't...understand. It was almost as if he was reading from a teleprompter behind me. As I return from my test ride, pretty excited about my new bike, I told the rep I loved it, and was ready to buy it, plus accessories too. You would think the rep would be happy about that...but you would be wrong.

I had heard from people who recommended Gregg that they gave 10% discounts on accessories, and keep in mind the bike alone is already extremely expensive to start with. The rep's first answer was &quot;well you would have to talk to my manager, but I don't know if you can do that&quot; (Hum..what? Why not?). Once the manager finally comes, instead of talking to me, he acts as if I'm invisible and speaks to the rep standing right next to me. I'm not asking for a gift, but I'm ready and willing to pay thousands and I don't think 20$ off 200$ accessories is a lot to ask for. After all this, despite me knowing they do offer discounts to some customers, he blows me off in an indifferent, somewhat condescending way, implying they are already doing me a favour. In his words, &quot;we don't have a problem selling these bikes&quot;. Yikes.

They do have a good selection, but if you can, I strongly advise you go somewhere else.

The guys working there are very nice and helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

i like the general: bike as a mainstream transportation mindset and high quality products.

i think their prices are a bit high, but they carry nice stuff and i think we should all pay a couple extra bucks to support local small retailers.

my personal perception of the owners attitude is another story...

I don't feel he had my best interest in mind in our transactions, but sometimes folks don't click and maybe that was all it was...

<title>Don't try to get extra service - you will fail! (Review of Gregg's Greenlake Cycle)</title>

I just bought my new bike at Gregg's and wanted to have some parts changed. They were totally unmotivated to sell me the extra parts. After a week I called them and asked about the status. Guess what, they did not even ordered the stuff. I am very disappointed...

It is also very hard to get a qualified sales person. They are talking about things they have no idea about.

Just try the stuff there, but don't buy. I will be hard for you getting someone helping you after you finished your shopping. Unfortunately I bought some extra labor and wanted to pimp my bike a bit - very bad idea with the Gregg's guys.
