<title>Pregnant again.... (Review of Village Maternity)</title>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Womens-Clothing/17712/p1/Village_Maternity.htm">Village Maternity</a><br/><br/>
		...just so I can shop here.  Not really!  But it is always a wonderful experience.  I've learned that you get what you pay for, and this is especially true at Village Maternity.  Their items might be a little pricier, but they are also more fashion forward, and of higher quality.  The sales staff is always incredibly helpful and I was able to find a majority of things that I could continue to wear after my pregnancy.  Favorite picks: jeans by Paige &amp; Habitual, Michael Stars tanks &amp; really special pieces by Australian line &quot;Ripe.&quot;

And don't even get me started on their kids selection. It's hard to get out of their without at least one little treat....

<title>Great fashions, a little lacking on quality (Review of Romy)</title>
		<category>Reviews - Women's Clothing</category>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Womens-Clothing/23528930/p1/Romy.htm">Romy</a><br/><br/>
Let me start by saying I love the styles and prices at Romy and I will absolutely shop there in the future.

That said, I have a couple caveat emptors:
1. Plan on re-sewing all your buttons. Almost every button on my garments from Romy have fallen off or loosened within a month of owning them - including a couple that fell off the first day I wore it!
2. Ditto for pocket linings. I've had to stich up a couple pockets now. This is mostly due to the delicate nature of the fabric they choose for the linings. Silky linings in pockets do not play well with keys.
3. Pants come in sizes S/M/L, not numberical sizes. This causes no end of grief for me because not a single pair of their beautiful pants have fit me.
4. Coats and jackets are sized on the small side. It may be the style of the garment, but if you have broad shoulders - you're out of luck.

<title>No refunds if you pay cash (Review of Romy)</title>
		<category>Reviews - Women's Clothing</category>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Womens-Clothing/23528930/p1/Romy.htm">Romy</a><br/><br/>
I bought something the other day at Romy's and paid cash. I took the items home and found they didn't match the items I wanted it to. I returned the items for a refund but to my surprise they don't refund cash, only store credit or exchange. Make sure to read the fine print on your receipt as well as the small sign posted by the register. I asked for a contact person at headquarters that I could take my complaint to and the clerk said she was not allowed to give out any phone numbers or email addresses. She did try to call her manager to talk to me but she was unavailable at that time and could not be reached until 20 minutes later. I will never shop at this store again and I will spread the word to all my friends that no matter how cute the clothes are you can find just as cute clothes and probably better quality at other stores that honor a refund of a basic cash purchase.

<title>Not impressed... (Review of Funky Jane's)</title>

This shop is hardly 'trendy' but is great if you are middle-aged and trying to re-create Linda Evans' look from Dynasty. I never see anything I like there, and if I do it's either overpriced or stained (or both)... I know this store has a loyal following but I personally can't see why!

If you are under 35, you will have better luck finding good pieces at Red Light or Buffalo Exchange- the prices are similar but the pieces are much nicer!

I've shopped here for years and over that time, it has really gone downhill. You can't find plus sizes anymore, everything looks the same and the price has been jacked up. Most of the staff seem as though they don't care about selling anything. One highlight was a section of Seattle based designers, but it was tiny compared to the selection of costumy goth crap you can get anywhere. I wish they had more identity and pride in what they sell, but it seems to be based on profit. I understand a store wanting to do well, but I miss my shopping experiences I once had with this once great store.

<title>Yes. The horror stories ARE true (Review of Marcella's La Boutique)</title>

The stories ARE true. I wanted a non-traditional wedding gown and found something I liked at Marcella's. When they measured me, they ordered the dress two sizes too large (despite my protests) and when the dress arrived it had to be significantly altered because it was much to large. We I asked from some tweaks to the tailoring (which ended up costing me almost as much as the dress) the owner was annoyed and dismissive. A really bad experience overall and a place I would not recommend.

I just got back from Seattle, and went to the Bellingham Store and wished they had a store like that in Newport Beach, CA. The prices where very reasonable and the clothes are so feminine and cute. I am a big fan of shopping online and am hoping you can give me a website to shop at. There were some Espadrilles I wanted to purchase there but they were out of my size. Next time I visit Seattle I will be sure to visit this store again!

<title>QUEEN ANNE DISPATCH: A GREAT SHOP ON QUEEN ANNE!! (Review of Queen Anne Mail and Dispatch)</title>

You have to love this place!! I disagree that there clothes are overpriced-- some are expensive, but they hit all price-points and some of the even less expensive clothing I have bought there have become the favorite pieces in my closet. They always have sales and not 10-20% off -- there is always a 50% off rack. I love to run in there when one of my kids just broke my sunglasses and can get a stylish pair for 14 dollars! I always get comliments on the items that come from Queen Anne Dispatch!
Also, their shoe selection is wonderful -- I am a huge Merrell fan as I have feet problems and yet am always walking the kids with the dog and need comfortable shoes (and they come in such cute styles that they always update! Much better selection than Nordstrom or Sole Feet in Merrells).
As far as their staff, people who have critized them really need to get over themselves. The hardworking Mother is a hoot, whether she is moody or not, and her daughter's are delightful!! They have worked very hard in this shop and I admire them. They have truly taken the Mom-and-Pop Shop to the next level.
Go in and give it a try!! You can even mail something out while you are at it which is wonderful to be able to get that done as well!!
Thank you for your wonderful shop, Queen Anne Dispatch!!!

I've been going to Les Amis for years now and have had great experiences. Beautiful and eclectic selection of clothes. I can find basics..tees, tanks, jeans..as well as a special occasion dress, new coat, or accessories. There can be an overwhelming amount of merchandise so if I'm looking for something special I tend to ask someone who works there what I'm looking for and they are always helpful.
Great shop! I always leave with a crush on a few things.

<title>Great stuff, but get it on eBay (Review of Anthropologie)</title>

		Review of: <a href="http://www.judysbook.com/cities/seattle/Womens-Clothing/75974/p1/Anthropologie.htm">Anthropologie</a><br/><br/>
There are several people on ebay who sell Anthropologie items new with tag (NWT) or used. it's unlikely you'll find current season items, but I've found shirts new there that were sold out in the stores.

I love their clothes, but simply can't force myself to pay full price for them! And if you wait, that $128 sweater may get marked down to $19.99...always check their sale area in the store, the prices there are better than the online sales on www.anthropologie.com
